Those summer days have well and truly gone here in NZ. The country has been hammered by cold weather recently with claims of snow as far north as Auckland. According to the weather guru’s this hasn’t happened for 80 years! On the other hand the snow has been epic, well that’s if you can get to the ski fields with half the roads in NZ closed. I managed to find my way up the hill last week to be greeted by empty lifts and powder up to my neck. No big deal.
Anyway, as my ear op heals up I should be back in the water early next month so have been flicking through some photos of last summer as I put the next ISOMAG issue together. Enjoy.

Guts. These photos are sick. My one big regret in life is never surfing The Island when I lived back home…too poor for a jet ski and didn’t know anyone who had a boat. I will get there one day!
